Polaris shipping & KMOU have made an agreement on Industry – University Collaboration. At the same time, the

scholarship award ceremony held at HQ in KMOU on 6th May to improve mutual cooperation.

Mr. Kim, CEO of Polaris shipping, Mr. Park, KMOU President, both attended the award ceremony. The key point of the agreement is as follows.

One, R&D, HR cultivation for the development of shipping industry

Two, Technical Consultation, Research Assistance, External consignment including co-research performance

Three, Mutual exchange about academic materials & technology information

Four, Research center, equipment, space’s co-utilization

Meanwhile, at the award ceremony, Mr. Kim, CEO representing Polaris Shipping awarded seven promising ship officers scholarships. He also promised the scholarship worth 500M won will be given constantly for ten years from now.
